Welcome to Hula Beach !!
Hula Beach began as a small store on Pico several years ago by it's original owner.
Quickly outgrowing the space, it was relocated to it's current location at 711 N. El Camino Real.
Ownership changed hands in March of 2005 to siblings, Douglas Laher and Judith Deutsch.
Being a new resident of San Clemente, Judy had brother Doug go exploring with her one day to see
what San Clemente had to offer along the lines of her favorite pastime, shopping. While driving
down El Camino Real, Doug caught a glimpse of Hula Beach and just about killed us both hanging a
U-turn to get there. We quickly became two of their best customers.
We have always loved Hawaii
and have hopes of living there someday. Hula Beach is a great stepping stone to that dream.
Anyone who has been in the store knows that you leave with the feeling that you have just been to Hawaii.
At Hula Beach we strive to help bring the look and feel of the islands to you for your homes.

Since Judy's background is accounting and office administration, you will most often find her in the backroom
working on the business end of Hula Beach. Having a second home in Hawaii is a great excuse to travel there
a few times a year to find new products for the store. Both of our homes are completely decorated in the
tropical style that we love so much.
